Have more treats! Art by Lori Larusso conjures up feelings of nostalgia for small-town intimacy, family values and domestic harmony. These images fuel our aching desire for simplicity. We crave simplicity because it is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve, in reality our lives are skewed and overloaded. Lori’s pastel pastries are therapeutic and inviting, they signify the level of comfort that’s rare — a sense of togetherness that we all long for.
Lori Larusso is based in Lexington, USA. She earned her BFA from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, and a MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. See more of her art here and here.
